Welcome to the agent platform research briefing for Thursday, June 11th, 2026.

**Claude Fable 5 โ€” Anthropic's First Public Mythos-Class Model.** On June 9th, Anthropic released Claude Fable 5, the first publicly available model from the Mythos tier that sits above the Opus line. Fable 5 achieves roughly 80% on SWE-Bench Pro and leads agentic coding evaluations, with a million-token context window. It is available via API as claude-fable-5, to Claude Code users, and to Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers on claude.ai. Pricing is $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens โ€” exactly 2ร— the cost of Opus 4.8 and 2ร— GPT-5.5 on input, making this Anthropic's most expensive consumer-facing model. The release comes days after Anthropic called for a coordinated global pause on AI development and while the company races toward its IPO. Fable 5 is described as a "safe" version of Mythos with enhanced guardrails, while the full-strength Mythos 5 remains restricted to select enterprise partners. The model is also available through Apple's FoundationModels Swift packages announced at WWDC.

**Google Gemini 3.5 Live Translate โ€” 70-Language Real-Time Speech-to-Speech.** Google launched Gemini 3.5 Live Translate on June 9th, its most advanced speech-to-speech translation model to date. The system handles over 70 languages and 2,000-plus language pairs, preserving intonation, pacing, and pitch in real-time โ€” no more stilted English-pivot translations. Consumer rollout is live now in the Google Translate app on Android and iOS globally. The API is priced at $0.023 per minute, undercutting competing services that charge up to $35 per attendee-hour. Google Workspace customers get private preview for Google Meet starting this month, with full rollout later in the year. Grab is already testing it for driver-passenger communication. Google included SynthID watermarking on all translated audio to prevent misuse. This is a major milestone in conversational speech-to-speech AI and puts Google ahead of OpenAI's Realtime APIs in the live translation space.

**OpenClaw 2026.6.5 Stable โ€” Monthly Release Train.** OpenClaw released version 2026.6.5 on June 9th, the first stable release under the new monthly versioning scheme. The release includes over 30 improvements and fixes centered on session recovery, extended-thinking stability after cache expiry, MCP block coercion to prevent Anthropic 400 errors from malformed server responses, and Parallel bundled as a native web_search provider. QQBot reasoning stripping was added to prevent thinking scaffold leakage to clients. The operator install policy replaces the previous dangerous-code scanner for safer plugin installations. This is the June floor release โ€” all subsequent June patches will increment as 2026.6.6 and beyond.

That's the agent platform research briefing for June 11th. Three stories today โ€” Anthropic goes public with Mythos, Google opens the Babel era, and OpenClaw keeps shipping on the monthly train. See you tomorrow.
