SpaceX has filed road closures at Starbase for today โ March 8th, 8 AM through 8 PM UTC โ which is the window SpaceX typically requests for static fire operations. Ship 39, the first fully-tiled Starship V3 upper stage, completed all three cryo proof tests this week. Booster 19 is also through its cryo campaign. With both stacked and tested, today's closure could mark the six-Raptor Ship 39 static fire that stands between SpaceX and an actual Flight 12 launch attempt. SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell has said Flight 12 is four to six weeks out. If today's static fire goes clean, late March becomes very plausible. Worth watching this morning.

Scale AI's SEAL team released SWE-Bench Pro, a new evaluation with 1,865 real-world software engineering tasks drawn from 41 professional production repositories. The headline number: top models are scoring around 23% on the public set. For context, those same models routinely hit 70% or higher on the older SWE-Bench Verified. The gap reveals that prior benchmarks were contaminated, too narrow, or both. SWE-Bench Pro was designed to be leakage-resistant and pulled from codebases that weren't in training data. If 23% is the real number, agentic coding systems have substantially more headroom โ and substantially more distance to cover โ than the leaderboards suggested.
